Meeting with Odisha Deputy Chief Minister
On 17 April 2025, the 2HT team met with Shri K. V. Singh Deo, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, led by the noted oncologist Padmashree Dr. Ravi Kannan, for an insightful discussion on strengthening cancer prevention through early detection in the state.
The meeting focused on the implementation of screening-based early cancer detection program, on a pilot mode in selected blocks of Bolangir and Keonjhar districts, in Odisha.
This interaction marked an important step in shaping the initial vision and foundation of 2HT’s work in the state, reinforcing a shared commitment towards advancing community healthcare.
