Dr. Ravi Kannan R

Director-cum-Chief Advisor
Dr. Ravi Kannan R is a renowned surgical oncologist serving as the Director of the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (CCHRC) in Silchar, Assam. He was the former head, of Surgical Oncology at the Adyar Cancer Institute. He relocated to the remote Barak Valley in 2007 to bridge, the critical gap in accessible cancer care. Dr. Kannan pioneered a “pro-poor” healthcare model, providing free or highly subsidized treatment along with food and lodging for patients. His innovative home-care programs and ad-hoc employment for caregivers, have dramatically improved treatment compliance among rural populations. For his transformative impact on community health, he was honored with the Padma Shri in 2020 and the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2023, recognizing his heroic efforts in providing holistic and compassionate oncology services, to the underprivileged. As the Director and Chief Advisor of Healing Health Total (2HT), he provides the strategic vision and clinical leadership, necessary to achieve the desired results. He holds an MS and an MCH in surgical oncology.

Mr. Lalatendu Das

Director

Mr. Lalatendu Das serves on the Board of Directors, bringing over 37 years of distinguished leadership experience from NALCO, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. Having held senior positions across Corporate Communication, Strategic Management, Industrial Engineering, and Parliamentary Affairs, he possesses extensive expertise in organisational governance, policy coordination, stakeholder engagement, and institutional administration. His strategic vision, governance experience, and deep understanding of public sector systems strengthen the organisation’s leadership, long term planning, and institutional development initiatives.

PK Swain

Director

PK Swain, Co-founder 2HT, retired as the Engineer-in-Chief, Dam Safety, Government of Odisha. He has extensive experience in leading and completing large scale irrigation projects and a World Bank Consultant on dam safety, for multiple states. He is associated with a number of philanthropic activities and is the Founder and Chairman of the premium Mount Litera School, in Bhubaneshwar as well as the GK Nursing College. He holds a BTech Degree, in Civil Engineering from NIT Warangal and was a Commonwealth Scholar, with a Master’s in River Basin Management, from the University of Reading UK.

Subrata Sarkar

Subrata Sarkar, Co-founder 2HT, has more than two decades of experience, of working with the development sector, with an expertise in government relations and public policy. He has worked closely with multiple state governments as well as the Government of India, on matters of programs and policy related to education, health and livelihoods and has led large scale multi-state education programs. He is an author having published with reputed journals, both at the international and national level and his book focusing on ICT in Primary Education, has been published by Springer, Switzerland. He holds a Master’s in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations including Defense and Strategic Studies. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Arup Mohan Patnaik

Arup Mohan Patnaik is a distinguished former Director General of Police and Commissioner of Mumbai Police, with over three decades of leadership experience, in the Indian Police Service. His career is marked by leadership as the Commissioner of Mumbai Police and pivotal roles in the CBI. Beyond his law enforcement legacy, he is the Managing Trustee of Konark Cancer Foundation, an NGO providing critical navigational support and logistics to thousands of cancer outstation patients, at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. His commitment to social welfare, has facilitated critical care and handholding for over 10,000 cancer patients and their families. He did his schooling from Mayo College, Ajmer and graduation from University of Delhi.

Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Mahapatra.

Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Mahapatra is a world-renowned neurosurgeon and academic leader who served as the Founder-Director, of AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Director of SGPGIMS, Lucknow. Recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University, he has authored 870 papers and 16 books. A pioneer in medical technology and paediatric neurosurgery, he has received over 65 awards. Currently, as Principal Medical Advisor to SOA University, he continues his mission of developing trained medical manpower, to ensure proper treatment for all.

Dr. C. D. Das is an accomplished entrepreneur based out of Dubai and industry leader with a European Professional Doctorate in Oil & Gas Management and over 30 years of experience, in the oil and gas industry. A recipient of the 2020 International Business Excellence Award, and also the Global Leadership and Excellence Award in Energy and Petrochem in 2014, has spearheaded diverse global projects across petroleum, refining, and power sectors. Beyond the professional success, Dr. Das’s philanthropic commitment is equally profound, focusing on rural education through computer learning centres, student meal programs, and providing financial aid for the medical treatment of the needy.

Dr. D. Rautray

Dr. D. Rautray is a veteran Surgical Oncologist and Director of Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer, Cuttack. With 30 years of service in the Armed Forces, he was awarded the Vashisht Seva Medal by the President of India, for distinguished service. His humanitarian spirit was notably displayed when he led the first Indian medical mission, into war-torn Afghanistan in 2001. Currently the Principal Cancer Advisor to the Government of Odisha, he is dedicated to shaping state-level oncology policies and ensuring high-quality surgical care that reaches the masses. He hols a Post Graduate Degree in Surgery, from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and also trained in Onco-Surgery from AIIMS Delhi. He was also a Fellow, at te National Cancer Centre, Singapore.

Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar, MD, PhD, FASCO, is a pioneering medical oncologist and a global leader in cancer care. He introduced medical oncology practice in India and established the internationally recognized “Pendharkar Model” for decentralized care across 150+ districts. A former President of ISO and ISMPO, he currently mentors nationwide cancer programs and serves as visiting faculty worldwide.

Krishna Prasad Tenneti

Krishna Prasad Tenneti is a distinguished Member of Parliament and a former IPS officer of the 1986 batch. Beyond his legislative and law enforcement expertise, he is deeply committed to grassroots philanthropy. He has spearheaded initiatives to provide drinking water and essential infrastructure to marginalized communities. His focus on social justice and public welfare drives his mission, to empower underserved populations through sustainable community development and proactive social advocacy. Dr. Prasanna Kumar Hota is a distinguished former Secretary of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and a 1969-batch IAS topper. His philanthropic legacy is defined by his transformative impact on national public health, where he pioneered the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and recruited one million ASHA workers, to serve rural India. A recipient of the ‘Commander Knight’ title from the King of Norway, he remains dedicated to creating sustainable, low-cost healthcare models, for the underprivileged. A Civil Engineering graduate from REC Warangal, he brings over 30 years of expertise in industrial infrastructure, specializing in civil and structural works for the power and steel sectors. He is recognized for his strategic leadership, in executing large-scale, complex projects. His company successfully completed the construction of a high altitude road, along the Indo-China border at leh (J&K) an altitude of 16000ft, for Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. His company also received the “White Rhino Safety Award” from NTPC Assam, in 2016. At 2HT, he utilizes his deep expertise in strategic management to ensure the organization’s operational foundations are robust, scalable, and sustainable.

Shri Rajib Sekhar Sahoo is a distinguished practising Chartered Accountant and Principal Partner at SRB & Associates, with extensive experience in finance, governance and corporate leadership. He has served as Trustee of Paradip Port Trust (2008–2010) and Director of Andhra Bank (2008–2011). His leadership roles include Director of NTPC Limited,(2011–2014), Hindustan Zinc Limited, THDC India Limited and Bank of Baroda, along with appointments as Independent Director at Indraprastha Gas Limited, SICOM Limited and Kalinga Hospitals Limited. Dr. Sunil Kumar Agrawala

Dr. Sunil Kumar Agrawala is a dedicated Surgical Oncologist, known for bridging the gap between advanced medical technology and rural accessibility. He launched the Rural Cancer Health Mission, establishing oncology outreach at the District and Primary Health Centre levels, to ensure underprivileged patients receive legitimate, timely treatment. An active advocate for preventive health care, he also leads anti-tobacco campaigns, in collaboration with IIT Mumbai. His work focuses on the philosophy that specialized training, should never be a constraint to patient care. He is currently Head of Oncology, SUM hospital, Bhubaneshwar.

Dr. Suresh Chandra Dalai, IAS (Retd.)

Dr. Suresh Chandra Dalai, holds an M.E. Hons (WRD) from IIT Roorkee and a Ph.D.
His extensive administrative experience includes serving as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government of Odisha, Odia Language Literature & Culture Department, and Special Secretary in the Housing & Urban Development Department. Notably, he implemented a lot of innovative measures across 22 districts as the Revenue Divisional Commissioner for both Northern and Central Divisions. A prolific researcher with over 50 published papers, he is recognized for his leadership in major irrigation projects and urban housing reforms. He currently serves as the Executive Director and OSD at IDCO.
