A productive interaction with Krishna Prasad Tenneti, former Director General of Police, Telangana, and Member of Parliament representing the Bapatla Constituency, Andhra Pradesh, who also serves on the Panel of Chairpersons of the Lok Sabha.
The meeting focused on exploring the piloting of an Early Cancer Screening Programme in Bapatla, modelled on the community based screening initiatives currently being implemented in Odisha. The discussion was followed by an extensive deliberation with Madam Tenneti on developing an effective implementation framework suited to local public health needs.
We look forward to working closely with the KP Foundation, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the Bapatla district administration to design a robust strategy aimed at strengthening early detection and improving cancer outcomes at the community level.
